Enrique Arellano Farias

Hello and welcome to my website!

My name is Enrique Arellano Farias. I was born in Mexico in 1967, of mixed Spanish, Mexican, and Greek ancestry. I am fluent in five languages and provide therapy in English, Spanish, French, or Italian. I am a therapist committed to supporting individuals on their journey towards wholeness, well-being, and optimal development. I offer mid-term and long-term therapy for those who choose me as their therapist, and I strive to establish a trust-based and safe therapy relationship with each of my clients.

I received my training from several esteemed institutions and respected Teachers, including The Open University, The AEDP Institute, CIL, BBSH, Istituto della Core Energetica, The IFS Institute, Center for Intentional Living, Mindsight Institute, Psychomotor Institute, and Deep Brain Reorienting, where I gained extensive knowledge and experience in the fields of body psychotherapy, trauma and dissociation, and psychology.

As a therapist, I focus on the felt sense of the body, the ebb and flow of emotions, and the experiential sense of being together in the therapeutic relationship. I believe that emotions are crucial to human well-being and development and provide the energy for unfolding our inner and outer relationships with the world.

I consider myself a relational therapist, and I support your healing by being available to your therapeutic needs. Additionally, I provide an experiential focus to your therapy, which involves engaging with your mindful awareness and sensory faculties to grow and change through healing experiences.

Lastly, I offer a Polyvagal Informed Practice, which helps individuals become aware of their nervous system reactions to safety and threats in their daily lives. This practice provides valuable tools and information for emotional regulation.

I am a proud member of several European professional associations, including the EABP, ESTD, and BPS.

Thank you for visiting my website. I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward healing and growth.

“We do not grow absolutely, chronologically. We grow sometimes in one dimension, and not in another; unevenly. We grow partially. We are relative. We are mature in one realm, childish in another. The past, present, and future mingle and pull us backward, forward, or fix us in the present. We are made up of layers, cells, constellations.”

― Anais Nin

I have been in Supervised Clinical Practice for +25 years.

As a therapist, I have chosen to be a therapy client, receive client supervision and to participate on continued professional training over the past 25 years.

That’s why I have undergone extensive training directly with some of the most respected teachers in the field, including Dr. Porges, Deb Dana, Diana Fosha, Richard Schwartz, Alexis Johnson, Ruth Lanius, and Frank Corrigan.

I have also met the supervised practice requirements, independent working hours, and training hours set by various professional bodies such as EABP and BPS. In addition, I hold a B.Sc. Hons. Degree in Psychology from The Open University in Great Britain. Currently working on my MSc in Mental Health Science at the same anima mater.

In 2004, I founded the Four Cycles Institute, which provides professional training for clinicians, and Editorial Eleftheria, SL, a well-known publishing company in Barcelona, Spain. These achievements are a testament to my commitment to the field and my passion for helping others.

I am dedicated to providing my clients with the highest level of care possible. My extensive training and experience have equipped me with the skills and knowledge needed to help clients overcome traumatic experiences, developmental trauma, and attachment issues in adults.
